Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF)

The AHF was founded in 1976 to promote the conservation of historic buildings in the UK. As well as providing advice and information for building preservation trusts and other charities interested in saving buildings. Association of Preservation Trusts (APT)

The APT is the national body which supports the work of building preservation trusts. It currently has over 260 members within nine areas, one of which is Scotland. As well as encouraging the work of building preservation trusts, APT also aims to help provide a network of guidance and support amongst building preservation trusts. To increase public awareness of the achievements of building preservation trusts. Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF)

The HLF is a non-departmental public body which distributes money raised by the National Lottery for Good Causes. It funds schemes which allow communities... widest sense, not only historic buildings and landscapes, but also museum collections, local traditions and customs. Historic Scotland

Historic Scotland is an agency within the Scottish Executive Education Department and is directly responsible to Scottish Ministers for safeguarding the nation's built heritage and promoting its understanding and enjoyment. Pilgrim Trust

The Pilgrim Trust was founded in 1930 by Edward Stephen Harkness of New York. His vision was to give grants for "some of the country's more urgent needs and in promoting her future well being". The Trust funds projects which fall into it's identified priorities, which include social welfare, art and learning, preservation of architectural or historic buildings or structures and the cataloguing and conservation of historic records.
