Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland (AHSS)

The AHSS is concerned with the protection, preservation, study and appreciation of Scottish buildings. It has over 1,500 members throughout Scotland, all of whom are interested in preserving the built heritage for future generations. As well as publishing an annual journal, magazine and twice yearly newsletter, it also runs lectures, visits to places of interest and social events for members. http://www.ahss.org.uk

Buildings at Risk Register

The Register is maintained by the Scottish Civic Trust on behalf of Historic Scotland, and provides information on properties of architectural or historic merit throughout the country that are considered to be at risk.

Use the website to browse through over 1,000 featured buildings. You can search using location, building type, architects name or category of risk. http://www.buildingsatrisk.org.uk

Development Trust Association Scotland (DTA Scotland)

DTA Scotland is the national body for development trusts in Scotland. Development trusts are not for profit, community led organisations which raise funds for community based projects to aid regeneration in their area. http://www.dtascot.org.uk

Forward Scotland is a company with charitable status which manages funds from a range of public and private sources to support projects which will improve life for Scotland's communities.
