The Trustees of Alba Conservation Trust are also Directors under company law. ACT's board is composed of Trustees nominated by Cockburn Conservation Trust (CCT) and Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT). As at June 2005, the Alba Conservation Trust board comprised:

1. John Campbell QC (Chair)

Advocate, Queen's Councel in Scotland since 1998. Specialist in Town and Country Planning Law.

2. Alastair Keatinge

Partner - Lindsays WS.

3. Anne Riches

Freelance architectural historian. Former Commissioner, Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. Trustee of SHBT.

4. Lindsays (Company Secretary)

Lindsay's WS - Company Secretary of CCT and SHBT.

5. George McNeill

Former Director of Planning West Lothian Council Current Chairman of the Built Environment Forum (Scotland). Chairman of SHBT.

6. John Gerrard

Former Technical Director, Scottish Civic Trust. Trustee of SHBT.
